Hi! I am Lisa, the face behind Wells Dyslexia.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and supporting children and families with SEND in both inner-city Birmingham and Nottinghamshire.
Having been a Primary school teacher for the last 16 years and a SENCo for the past 10 years, I’m passionate about making inclusion more than just a buzzword. My focus has always been on ensuring every child has the right support - whether through enhanced provision or thoughtful adjustments within the mainstream classroom so they can thrive, feel valued and reach their full potential.
I’m also a proud parent of two teenage boys, which means I have extensive patience and am adept at locating missing football boots at short notice! When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me out walking or at the gym!
